A piano hinge and a magnetic latch. No nails!! Stainless steel handle! It is
a nice designer piece of furniture that is functional. I had limited storage
when I opened my design studio w/ framing.The 6' includes 3" casters which
can be re-mounted so the unit can lay horizontally as well. I started with
it horizontally and later preferred to stand it upright because of storing
glass!! It holds 40" x 60"
vertically (2) and 32" x 40" (2). It stores matboard and
glass cases nicely with extra room for single pieces additionally!"
