NFE-107 Fletcher - AMP T400 Double Mitre Saw
New for 2013, the T400 incorporates all of the technology developed for AMP’s T350T, but in a saw with even greater cutting capacity. The blade is 50mm wider, providing more power and versatility than ever before. The T400 can handle the most demanding tasks asked of it with ease, including picture-framing and woodworking applications for windows, doors, furniture components and more. Its state-of-the-art design is fast and extremely robust, built to last for many years in a high-production environment. The T400’s unique pneumatic control system totally supports the weight of the cutting assembly, allowing for an ultra-smooth downstroke, extremely precise and stable cuts, and a quick return.

The saw’s dual-blade configuration as well as its proprietary vertical-drop technology (VDT) results in highly efficient, user-friendly operation, plus minimal scrap—as small as a 1/16” knockout. The vertical clamping system is equipped with four pneumatic hold-downs, keeping the moulding firmly adhered to the worktable for high-quality cuts every time.
The T400 can be outfitted with the Auto Gauge computerized automatic measuring device, sold separately. This programmable computer is designed to help decrease operator error and increase output for shops with high-quality custom or production requirements. The Auto Gauge can use bar-code technology by having the frame dimensions built into a bar code. For production framers, the gauge is equipped with memory program technology, allowing data for up to 1,400 different frame styles. In addition, the width measuring system will automatically measure the width of the moulding for accurate internal measurements. The “stop” button on the Auto Gauge is equipped with a sensor that moves the stop to the next position as soon as a cut is made.
