This panorama captures the excitement as the Pac-10 Oregon Ducks and SEC Auburn Tigers compete for the College Football National Championship title. This was Oregon's first national championship game after closing its extraordinary undefeated 12-0 season. The game proved to be one for the ages and resulted in a record-setting crowd of 78,603 fans at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The Ducks fought hard and tied the game, forcing the Tigers to make a field goal in the last minute of play. The BCS National Championship Game, a first time event for both Oregon and Auburn, is the final bowl game between the two highest-ranked teams in the BCS standings.
