This panorama captures a defining moment in the 101st Rose Bowl Game. The No. 2 ranked Oregon Ducks, champions of the Pac-12 Conference, recovered a fumble and returned the ball 58 yards for a touchdown, to ultimately defeat the No. 3 ranked Florida State Seminoles. The Ducks broke 10 records in Rose Bowl history, including Most Touchdowns (8) and Most Points Scored (59). This was the first-ever meeting between the two teams, as well as the first-ever College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Rose Bowl Game. Oregon finished the regular season with a 12-1 overall record and returned to the Rose Bowl Game for their seventh appearance and their third all-time win.
