This aerial panorama of Chicago was taken over Lake Michigan. On the far left, almost fully surrounded by water, is the Adler Planetarium. Further up the shoreline is the John G. Shedd Aquarium, the world's largest aquarium for most of the 20th century. Just inland is The Field Museum of Natural History named after Marshall Field, the wealthiest and most powerful businessman in Chicago during the late 19th century. Further left is Soldier Field, home to the Chicago Bears football team. Centered with its twin antennas is the 110-floor Willis Tower, formerly known as Sears Tower. Grant Park is also center, featuring the spectacular Buckingham Fountain. To the far right is Navy Pier.
