Note: Actual Print has no lines in it.
Licensed by The National Football League, this painting was used by the Save Our Browns Committee as a fundraising tool to help defray the cost accumulated in the effort to keep both the Browns name and colors in Cleveland.
The painting was unveiled on the field during a live half-time presentation on CBS at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Colts vs. Saints Game on August 3rd, 1996.
The presentation featured Otto Graham, Dante Lavelli, Lou "The Toe" Groza, Marion Motley, Jim Brown, Leroy Kelly, and artist Ray Simon; these Hall of Fame members were those who assisted the Save Our Browns Committee in support of their cause. The painting has the official Save Our Browns logo on the print and shows former Coach Paul Brown looking at the first draft of the proposed stadium. |
