Since opening in 1975, the stadium has experience several renovations and today seats 55,000 fans. The Iowa State Cyclones play in Division I-A as a member of the Big 12 Conference. Founded in 1858 in Ames, Iowa as Iowa Agricultural College and Model Farm, Iowa State University's 26,000 students can choose from over 100 major and over 500 student organizations.
