May need new foam strip or bladder
From the seller " The vacuum works fine, it heats up fine, but it doesn't hold a vacuum well, if at all. When I purchased it used, the foam needed to be replaced. I replaced it with just regular old foam but the foam is a little big so it does not close well. It worked great for a few months though. The rubber bladder is not sticking to the foam anymore, which is what is causing the vacuum leak I believe. So to get this press to good working condition would require new foam that is correctly adhered to the bladder or just a new bladder all together. I will include a tacking iron as well as the remainder of my adhesive roll that is 24.5 inches wide (maybe 20-30 feet of length left on it)."

Bienfang Vacuum Presses are designed to automatically control the four main variables of mounting: moisture, pressure temperature and time. This assures consistent results. There are two simple ways to operate the Vacuum Press: by setting each control individually or by using convenient programmed settings. Some settings are preset at the factory but you can also set your own programs for procedures you conduct repeatedly.
Platen temperature is maintained at +/- 2° F of the set temperature.
